Beans are one of the most nourishing, flavourful and versatile ingredients in the world. For one special evening, two Blasta Books authors come together to celebrate their magic. Join our founder, Lily Ramirez-Foran, and Ali Honour, whose new book Beans explores the incredible flavour and potential of pulses, for a unique dinner where this humble ingredient takes centre stage.
Ali’s work celebrates beans not just for their flavour, but for their role in a more sustainable future, showing how this simple ingredients can be hearty, exciting and deeply satisfying.
The evening begins with a welcome drink and snacks, followed by a three-course dinner celebrating beans in creative and delicious ways - from vibrant Mexican dishes to deeply comforting plates that showcase the richness, texture and versatility of pulses.
To finish, Ali will serve the show-stopping dessert from her new book - Baked Alaska - bringing a little theatre and sweetness to the table.
Throughout the evening, Lily and Ali will share stories from their kitchens and the inspiration behind their cooking and books.

Guests are welcome to bring their own wine or drinks to enjoy with the meal. A welcome drink will be served on arrival, and non-alcoholic drinks will be available throughout the evening.
