We agree to sell our products to you subject to the terms and conditions set out on this page. Please read these conditions carefully before using our website. Restrictions on Content and Intellectual Property:
My Mexican Shop Ltd. t/a Picado Mexican is a registered company name. All of the content displayed or seen in this website, including but not limited to page headers, images, photographs, illustrations, graphics, audio clips, video clips, software and text or content are subject to copyright and/or other intellectual property rights or licenses held by My Mexican Shop Ltd or one of its suppliers. The entire content of the website is copyrighted as a collective work under the copyright laws of Ireland.
You cannot , without prior written permission from My Mexican Shop Ltd., create a database of any kind (including electronic or in structured manual form) by downloading, copying and storing all or any of the content of our website. You may not redistribute any of its content or supply it to other people. All content is protected by copyrights and proprietary rights and laws, including but not limited to text, software, music, sound, photographs, video, graphics or any other material contained on our website.
All prices shown on Picado Mexican website are inclusive of any VAT payable unless otherwise stated. The price of our products do not include any delivery charges. For delivery charges, see the section titled ‘Deliveries’.
By completing and submitting an electronic order form on the site, you are making an offer to purchase goods that once paid, will result in a binding contract. There will be no contract of any kind between you and us unless and until we have actually received payment for such goods.
Currently, Picado Mexican accepts payments from three sources, these sources vary depending on customer's geographical location, you will be prompted with your options during the checkout process:
Secure Electronic Payments (available for all geographical regions): We use PayPal and Stripe for all our automatic payments. PayPal and Stripe are secure credit card payment processors. Use your Mastercard, Visa credit card, and some Debit cards or your PayPal or Stripe account to pay for your order. You do not need to have a PayPal or Stripe account to pay with your card, simply follow the steps as a guest on PayPal or Stripe. All payments through PayPal or Stripe are secure. My Mexican Shop Ltd. t/a Picado Mexican does not store any of your credit or debit card details.
Bank Transfer (available only for Ireland & the UK): place your order and proceed to checkout. Follow the onscreen instructions and choose the option ‘payment by bank transfer’ from the Payment Options Page. This will bring you to a page with all our bank details so you can make the transfer from your bank to ours directly. Your order will be shipped as soon as your payment has been credited to our account. This method of payment is slightly slower than PayPal or Stripe as most bank transfers take about a day, maximum two to come through. Once payment has been received, we will ship your order with next day delivery priority.
Cheques / Cash (available only for the Island of Ireland): place your order and proceed to checkout. Follow the onscreen instructions and choose the option ‘Payment by Cheque / Cash’ from the Payment Options. This will bring you to a page with all our cheque details so you can make the cheque and post it to us. Your order will be shipped with next day delivery priority as soon as your cheque has been cleared. Cash payments can only be taken when collecting your items at our shop in South Richmond Street in Dublin 2.
Our liability to you in connection with any order will not exceed the total price charged for the relevant items.
At My Mexican Shop Ltd. t/a Picado Mexican, we endeavor to dispatch orders within 24 hours of receipt on weekdays only, however in some cases and due to unforeseen circumstances, we cannot guarantee this. Delivery will be made to the address specified by you on the completed order form. All orders must include a contact telephone number for the recipient, we will not be held liable for failed deliveries as a result of incorrect or incomplete addresses or phone numbers provided or our courier being unable to contact the recipient directly. Delivery rates and times as well as weight restrictions are displayed in the tables below by country.
DELIVERIES TO THE ISLAND OF IRELAND:
Picado Mexican offers a flat shipping rate for the Island of Ireland for shipments of up to 30 kilos (please see table below), any shipment over 30 kilos will incur extra delivery charges, please contact us if this is your case for specific costs. The delivery charge is clearly displayed on both the delivery information link on our site and at the point of checkout. Orders in the Island of Ireland over 50 euro and within 30 kilos receive free shipping until such offer is withdrawn. Please note that this offer only applies to deliveries in addresses within the Island of Ireland (both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland). Deliveries will be made on behalf of My Mexican Shop Ltd T/A Picado Mexican by our third party logistics provider.

At Picado Mexican, we operate a next day delivery service as standard when possible within the Island of Ireland; however, in some very remote parts, goods might be delivered on scheduled delivery days for the region. All accepted orders placed on a working day, (Monday to Friday) before 10 a.m. GMT will be processed and shipped on the same working day. These orders will arrive on the next business day in most parts of Ireland. All orders placed after the cut off time of 10 a.m. GMT on a working day, will be processed and shipped the next working day. These orders will arrive on the next business day. Orders placed during Friday afternoons, Saturdays and Sundays, will be processed and shipped on Mondays to arrive with you on Tuesdays.
Bank holidays will affect delivery time, in which case, you will receive your order on the next working day. We make every effort to deliver your goods on time, however, we will not be liable if we fail to do so due to circumstances beyond our control. Goods must be signed for and received by a person over 18 years old.
If the nominated place of delivery is unattended at the time delivery is attempted, the delivery company will leave a calling card with the driver’s phone number on it. It is your responsibility to call the driver and agree a time for the reattempt delivery. There will be no charge incurred for a second attempted delivery, however after the second delivery attempt; the customer will be responsible for any additional delivery charges due to our third party logistics company.
My Mexican Shop Ltd. T/A Picado Mexican delivers to several European countries. Delivery fees and lead-times vary from country to country, please check the table below for shipping costs and approximate lead-times according to your region. Please note that delivery charges do not include taxes and duties where applicable. Customers are liable for customs charges upon receipt of delivery. All our international deliveries within Europe are based on road freight rates.

Damaged Goods & Refunds:
In the unfortunate case of goods being faulty or damaged in transit, we kindly ask you to contact us within 2 days of receiving your goods by e-mail on firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 01-479-2004 so we can take care of everything. Please make sure to notify the courier on the spot of any visible damage to packaging. My Mexican Shop Ltd T/A Picado Mexican will arrange for collection of the faulty / damaged goods for you and arrange replacement or refund on a case by case basis.
We aim to make the returns process as simple as possible. In the Island of Ireland, goods can be returned by Registered Post to 44a South Richmond Street, Dublin 2. You will be required to return the goods, unopened and as new with a copy of your original invoice via An Post Registered Post. Your statutory rights are not affected.
International shipments will be dealt with on a case to case basis always striving to provide the best customer service possible.
Cancelation of orders:
Orders can be cancelled at any stage up to the point of shipping (before 10 am) with no penalty. Simply call us on 087-780-4750. Orders cancelled after shipping will incur the delivery charge plus the cost of returning the order/goods if it has been shipped, this includes orders availing of free shipping.
In accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive, you have the right to cancel the contract with us within 7 working days starting from the day you receive the goods and without giving any reason and without penalty except the cost of returning the goods. In this situation, please contact us in writing and let us know you want to cancel your order and return the goods to us. Goods must be unused, in perfect condition and in their original packaging.
We may terminate the Website with or without cause at any time and effective immediately. In addition, we, in our sole discretion, may terminate your Account for violation of the letter or spirit of these terms and conditions.
The information contained in this website is for information purposes only and, although we have made every effort to ensure the correctness of the information contained herein, the information available through the Website is provide “as is” and “as available” and without warranties of conditions of any kind either expressed or implied. We accept no liability in relation to any of the above other than as may be provided for under your statutory rights.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall we be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages that result from the use of or the inability to use this website, any changes to this website, any material or data sent or received or not sent or received, or for any of the above mentioned damages that result from the use or inability to use the products.
These Product Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland and any disputes will be decided only by the Irish courts. Relevant legislation governing these Terms & Conditions is the Sales of Goods (Supply of Services) Act, 1980, the Consumer Information Act, 1978, the Electronic Commerce Act, 2000, the EU Directive on Distance Selling, SI207 of 2001 and SI 68 of 2003, the Data Protection (Amendment) Act, 2003 and the Copyright & Related Act, 2000.
