Buñuelos de Viento are a popular dough fritter eaten during Christmas and New Years Day in Mexico. They are as thin as a crep, sweet, crispy and delicious. The dough is super light and on the salty side, but the finished product is covered in sugar and cinnamon. Shaped as a large snowflake, they are absolutely amazing with a cup of coffee or even better a mug of hot Mexican chocolate!
These are made fresh and only last a couple of days, so buy yours in store and enjoy them on the same day.
