Chopped Sweet Chipotles in Adobo
I'm a huge fan of Clemente Jacques as a brand, they make some of my favourite products, but this is by far, the tastiest of them all. Small chunks of chopped smokey chipotles in adobo with a hint of sweetness from Mexican Piloncillo in the sauce is just heaven in a jar. If I was a product, this would be me for sure!
Chipotles in adobo are smoked dried Jalapeño chillies that have been cooked in an adobo sauce made of onion, vinegar, garlic, spices and some other deliciousness; it is very difficult to make something like this taste even better, but the addition of Piloncillo (which is crystallised sugar cane juice) is just genius! The balance between sweet and spicy is perfect and I just love using this is almost everything! Very conveniently presented in a glass jar so you can keep it in the fridge and access it any time you want.
